I’m delighted to be included in the shortlist for the Choice Music Album of 2015! A great start to a New Year.. Every now and again in this game (every couple of years), one gets a pleasant and completely unexpected surprise and this counts large among those moments.
There were many many fabulous Irish albums released last year..and to find mine shortlisted as one of just Ten is humbling and unusual to say the least. We all know that lists and competitions are nonsense and that Music will never be bound by taste or opinion. (Right?)
A Huge thanks to all of you out there who’ve been such good friends to my music over the past number of years and most especially over the past 8 months since this album was released.. I’m really looking forward to wonderful evening of Music at Vicar Street on the 3rd of March… Ceol binn Abú! Colm x
